But this is more worrisome... The question is no longer whether ISPs should take money on both ends, but from whom and how much.
Even before most of the Open Internet Order was struck down in court, Wheeler endorsed the idea of a "two-sided market" in which both home Internet customers and content companies pay Internet service providers.
"I am a firm believer in the market," he said at the time. “I think we’re also going to see a two-sided market where Netflix might say, ‘well, I’ll pay in order to make sure that you might receive, my subscriber receives, the best possible transmission of this movie.’ I think we want to let those kinds of things evolve. We want to observe what happens from that, and we want to make decisions accordingly, but I go back to the fact that the marketplace is where these decisions ought to be made, and the functionality of a competitive marketplace dictates the degree of regulation."

http://archive.org/post/1016057/uanble-to-play-or-download-any-audio-video-files-on-comcast
"This week I've noticed that I am unable to play or download any audio or video files that are hosted on Archive.org. This includes the audio and video I have been uploading, along with other users that are uploading audio and video. I am on Comcast with 50Mbps down so I have plenty of bandwidth. But my friend who is on Verizon FiOS has no issues playing or downloading files. Another friend who lives in California and also is on Comcast has the same issue as me where he is unable to play or download anything from Archive.org"
"Is anyone else on Comcast having this issue. Is there anything I can do or anything Archive.org can do?"
[ yes, I had exactly these issues with The Archive's "blockage" from my Comcast ISP for one day too, earlier this week ]
"This issue seems to have worked itself out. I had spoken with several friends earlier today on Comcast who were having issues." [ yes, that's the same thing that happened to me ]
Anyone else have these issues?
